Advertisements from yester-year and ghost signs around Cincinnati: If they're not fading away, they're covered up, or the buildings they're on are torn down.
Hey Gasyknoll i just love your work. Even though you think you are not a good photographer i still love your pictures. Our heritage is wiping out and im glad there are people who are trying to restore it.
Per The Leather Worker's Journal, published in 1905, it appears that the building @1125 Main St was once International Hall, a makeshift headquarters that Local No. 49 of the United Leather Worker's International Union established for the 100+ employees of the Perkins Campbell Company, a maker of tanning & equestrian supplies, while they were on strike here in Cincy. Other union members were advised to stay away from Cincinnati for their own safety.
Their own safety??
