Kansas City Leftovers

In honor of the Royals' appearance in the World Series tonight,
we pick up a couple of strays from our foray into KC.
The New England Bank Building is at 21 West. 10th.

While the Kansas City School of  Law sits at nice, quiet 913 Baltimore.
Quiet on a Sunday morning anyway.

You can read more about each building at the Kansas City Library's walking tour page

R. Mueller Grocery

On Hamilton, in Northside.
We can't tell what the product in the big box is, but it does appear to say
"Good spread for bread."

And on the north side of this Northside home, ????

To the far left, we see what appears to be an A and an R.

More from the Big O

Thanks again to our Western Field Agent, Mr. D.L. Hudson.

This reminds us of a similar alarm discovered by Mr. B. Johnson

These two are near the corner of 19th and Douglas.

A Return to Strang

As we approached to take this picture, we could hear music, but couldn't identify the source.
There was no-one else around.  Which, in Strang, is not uncommon.

Creamery in Clay Center

In 4th grade, we learned how to read maps.  Clay Center was one of the towns we always had to find.

We think it says "CREAMERY".

And in all the years I lived in Nebraska, all the times I drove past Clay Center, would you believe this was the first time I actually ventured into the downtown?
