Cross the Street

 

For whatever reason, I usually walk on the west side of Vine.  This is only visible if one is on the east sidewalk.

 

And it's on the same building as this.

We've lost another one.  12th Street, between Vine and Race.

 

 

What's really infuriating about this?  Why it's been covered.

ArtWorks is painting one of ten murals on this building, Tender Mercies.

 

I like the mural program.  I really like what the City of Cincinnati, and ArtWorks have done.  However, I'm saddened that few, very few people see ghost signs as art.

Not Much Hidden

 

When I first spotted this one, on Reading Road, in Reading, I figured the building on the left was covering up half of the sign.

 

Not so much.

Seriously.  I saw it from a block away, clear as day. 

 

I'll have to go by again, because I can't remember what it reads as.
