Advertisements from yester-year and ghost signs around Cincinnati: If they're not fading away, they're covered up, or the buildings they're on are torn down.
Here's a bit of trivia for you: earlier this year, I met an older gentleman who owns a bunch of property in OTR, mostly north of Liberty. I've been told that he made a bunch of money by selling his previous holdings, on and around Vine St. south of Liberty, to 3CDC. Anyway, he used to be the owner of the American Luggage Co. -- I can't remember anymore if he bought, founded or inherited this business.
