Streetcar

Note the Fred Lemon signature.  The only reference to him we could find is in the now-famous City Beat article.

On Vine, just north of the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

City Barns, a few of which stand today, were where they kept streetcars.

  1. Fred Lemon was my dad. He would turn 101 this October 18 if he were still alive. Dad did signs all over Cincinnati back in the day. Many required a scaffold to paint as they were up very high. You could view his huge Pepsi signs over I-75.

  2. That's wonderful! I've see his name all over the city, (even though I haven't been the best at labeling them.) Here's a few: http://fadedadart.blogspot.com/search/label/Fred%20Lemon

    Thank you!
