A quick Googling finds that the Lorenz group is still in business, and according to their website, are one of the biggest publishers of handbell and choral music.

So, this falls not into the category of ghost sign, but rather faded ad art.

Sunday Drive

We'd been thinking for some time on an excursion to find more ghost signs.  It would seem all the low hanging fruit in Cincinnati has been picked.

So, with nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon, we loaded up Wall Dog 1 and drove to Dayton.

Downtown had a few.  The Oregon District had a couple.  But we struck gold in Webster Station.

A block of old warehouses and factories there, including the Dayton Iron Store building, have been turned into flats.

A zoom so youse can sees the horizontal and not just the vertical.

Walnut Hills

With the sun in our eyes, we were lucky to spot this one, and actually drove around the block to see if there was actually a ghost sign, or if we were projecting.

It's at Gilbert and Foraker.  Right across the street from the Harriet Beecher Stowe House.

Which we did not notice at all.

Outside Bockfest Hall, on Saturday.

We had these two before, but not from this angle, and with this light.

Not a Ghost Sign

But there is a ghost circle.

Potts Heating is still in business in Norwood, and bless them for employing a sign painter for their on-site advertising.

On the west side of the building, there's an identical sign and ghost circle.

Pendleton

A neighborhood of its own, and not a suburb of OTR.

We haven't spent a lot of time in Pendleton, but we feel there are other ghost signs here, waiting to be found.
