Until recently, there was a beauty supply store here, on 6th Street.

But, I always got the sense, the Newberry's sign was from an earlier incarnation.

Can any long-time Cincinnatians confirm?

Quick Turnaround

A year ago, there was a big empty mall Downtown.

The stores and food court vacated before the Cincinnati Film Festival used the premises last September.  And in a few weeks,

The building will reopen as a parking garage.  Think about that: in about a year, the interior was stripped, reformed, and re-purposed.

Shuffling Off

These two gems come to us via Mr. B. Johnson, during a recent excursion to Buffalo, NY.

He reports there were a great many more in the city by the lake, but he was only able to capture these two.

Where Else?

Where else would you have a violin repair company, except for across the street from Music Hall?

Sadly, Azzi and Wolf appear to have moved on.
