We saw this on Liberty, just off of Main this weekend, and couldn't figure out why we hadn't noticed it before. We've already featured another part of the building.
But, again, another quick trip to Google Street View shows us it was partially covered until fairly recently.

Peete Street Antique Beat
We're not surprised we hadn't noticed this earlier.
A quick look at the Google Street View shows the ghost letters completely covered by paint.
